January 24, 2024 At. January 23, 2024, DRC Regular called meeting, the DRC: forwarded a favorable recommendation to the City Council regarding proposed Roundabout features including, the Star, the artificial turf, the black sign. Carried unanimously by a 3-0 vote. Katie Amsler, Director of Communications and Community Engagement for the City introduced the item and gave the staff report. She explained that there were several options - concept plans that the city staffi included in the agenda tonight. The Roundabout is completed, and the city staff and the Downtown Revitalization Committee (DRC) have discussed at length that this feature will be a welcome' to the downtown. There are many things to consider when evaluating these proposed options, one is will the feature fit in with the existing character ofdowntown?
