A motion was made by Ronnie Cartwright with a second by) Johnny Towerton to canvass the votes ofthe May 7, 2020 General 2. Discuss and Consider Action: Newly elected officers will be issued Certificates of Election. Mayor Stephen Brister Hicks issued the Certificate 3. Discuss and Consider Action: Newly elected officers will take their Statement of Elected Office. Mayor Stephen Brister Hicks gave the Statements of Elected Office to Ronnie Cartwright and Bob Butler. 4. Discuss and Consider Action: Newly elected officers will take their Oaths of fOffice. MINUTES  5. Discuss and take action by appointing a council member to replace the vaçancy created by the resignation of Council Member Marsha Laughlin. A motion was made by) James Dickison with a second by Johnny' Towerton to accept the resignation of] Marsha Laughlin effective May 2022 and to appoint Larry Koch to finish the vacant term ending in May 2023. Motion passed by 6. Discuss and Consider. Action: Council will appoint a mayor pro tem fora term of one year. A motion was Ronnie Cartwright with a second by Johnny Towerton to appoint Bob Butler as the mayor pro tem. Motion passed by 7. Take action by reappointing Mrs. Sharon Watson as Municipal Court Judge for a two-year term from May 2022 to May 2024. A motion was made by Ronnie Cartwright and a second by Bob Butler.
