Discuss and consider action: Accept the resignation letter from Court Clerk employee, Amanda Tower. A motion was made by Bobl Butler with a second by Lydia Davis to accept. Amanda Tower's resignation. Motion passed by unanimous vote. MINUTES COUNCIL ENTERED INTO EXECUTIVE SESSION A motion was made by Lydia Davis with a second by Ronnie Cartwright to go into executive session for hiring at 6:07 p.m. Motion passed by unanimous vote. Discuss and consider action: Interview and/or hire an applicant for the full-time position ofl Municipal Court Clerk setting a start date and rate of pay Ai recess during executive session was called by the Mayor from 7:02 p.m. to 7:11p.m. determined by City Council. Council reconvened back into regular session at 7:34p.m. 2. Discuss and consider action: Interview and/or hire an applicant for the full-time position of Municipal Court Clerk setting a start date and rate of pay determined by City Council. A motion was made by Ronnie Cartwright with a second by Johnny Towerton to hire Stephanie Sweet for the full-time position of Municipal Court Clerk with a start date of12/2/2022 at the hourly rate of$14.00. 3. Discuss and consideraction: purchasing a used 2017 Tahoe for the Lometa Police Department with funds from the. American Rescue Plan Act fund account. A motion was made by Johnny Towerton with a second by Ronnie Cartwright toj purchase a 2017 Tahoe for the Police Department for $20,000.00 with $10,000.00 additional funds going towards outfitting the vehicle totaling $30,000.00 paid from ARPA line item 7060: ARPA Law Enf. Vehicle Purchase. An additional amount of $6,000.00 being used towards outfitting the vehicle will come from Insurance payments deposited into the General Fund Account.
