BI0  Members Present: Steve Messana Diane Williams Sarah Novo Members Absent: Chad Cormack Bryan Rivera City Staff Present:  McKenzi Hicks, Interim Planning Director Elaine Simpson, City Secretary (Recording Secretary) Stephan Zaparolli, Planner I Joe Crawford, City Legal Counsel from Bojorquez Law Firm 1) CALL TO ORDER  The Capital Improvements Advisory Committee (CIAC) meeting was called to order by Steve Messana at 8:02 PM on March 5, 2024, at 2801 Ranch Road 1869, Liberty Hill, Texas. Quorum was established and all  members were present, except Chad Cormack and Bryan Rivera  2) PUBLIC COMMENTS  Public Comments are welcome. You may submit Public Comments in person, or you may submit to the City  Secretary at smpongberonagon before 3:00 PMthe day of the meeting.  There were no citizen comments. 3) REGULAR AGENDA  a) Receive aj presentation from staffregarding aj proposed update to the CityofLiberty Hill's wastewateri impact Interim Planning Director McKenzi Hicks went over the presentation and highlighted the materials provided in the packet, noting that this was just an introductory meeting. Attorney Joe Crawford provided clarification on  fees. (M. Hicks/J. Crawford)  what cannot be paid for by impact fees on page 9.  Capital Improvements Advisory Committee Meeting minutes 1  March 5, 2024    Following discussions, the bullets on page 12 were corrected as follows:  March 13th, Interim Director Hicks will request that the Council call aj public hearing for amendment of April 2nd, CIAC will discuss the written comments to be sent to Council on the proposed impact fee April 16th, the April 2nd, minutes and the written comments to Council will be included int the CIAC consent April 24th, Council holds a public hearing and may take action on the impact fee amendment.  impact fee. amendment.  agenda item for approval. Attorney Crawford advised that he would provide more information on how the fee is calculated in order for the CIAC to review the math behind the wastewater impact of$ $5,260.  4) ADJOURNMENT the meeting at 8:41 PM.
