TOWN OF PRINCESS ANNE, MARYLAND  LEGISLATIVE SESSION RESOLUTION NO. 2023- 02  AI RESOLUTION TO. APPROVE THE PURCHASE OF A FORD POLICE INTERCEPTOR UTILITY VEHICLE IN THE. AMOUNT OF $48,000 FOR THE TOWN OF  PRINCESS ANNE POLICE DEPARTMENT.  WHEREAS, the Princess Anne Police Department must replace two (2) vehicles, a 2010 WHEREAS, the President and Commissioners of the' Town of] Princess Anne propose to replace one fully equipped Ford Police Interceptor Utility vehicle for the cost of $48,000, as shown on Exhibit "A"a attached hereto to be paid by funding from the Local Government Insurance Trust in the amount of $33,550 and $14,450 from the Princess Anne Police  vehicle and a 2011 vehicle, which were rendered inoperable; and  Department.  NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the President and Town Commissioners of the Town of Princess Anne, Maryland, approve the purchase ofa fully equipped Ford Police Interceptor Utility vehicle for the cost of $48,000, as shown on Exhibit"A" attached hereto. THE. ABOVE RESOLUTION was introduced and read and passed ai regular meeting oft the President and' Town Commissioners of Princess Anne on the 6th_ day of_February_, 2023, andi ist to  become effective immediately upon adoption.
