TOWN OF NEW WINDSOR RESOLUTION NO. 00-07-23  WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the citizens of the Town of New' Windsor to  be prepared for emergencies which may occur; and  WHEREAS, on April 13, 2023, the County Commissioners of Carroll County adopted the "Carroll County Hazard Mitigation Plan" which had been proposed to them  by the Carroll County Office of Public Safety Support Services; and  WHEREAS, adoption of this Plan by the Town will assist the Town in dealing with possible emergency scenarios which may arise, including obtaining possiblefundingi from  various sources;  NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED this Yhh day of TNE  2023, that the "Carroll County Hazard Mitigation Plan" adopted April 13, 2023, by the County Commissioners of Carroll County, be and the same hereby is adopted by the Mayor and Council of the Town of New Windsor; said Plan to be effective immediately.
