TOWN OF NEW WINDSOR RESOLUTION NO. 02-07-24  WHEREAS, by virtue of the authority contained in Local Government Article 5-101 et seq of the Annotated Code of Maryland and Section 205-37 of the Code of the Town of New' Windsor, the Mayor and Council are authorized to establish a schedule of fees for  the public water and sewer systems within the Town; and  WHEREAS the existing fee schedule for fire suppression sprinkler systems has  been in place for over twenty-two years and is inadequate for current costs; and  WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council have determined to adopt an increase in fees for sprinkler systems to become effective upon adoption of this Resolution and applicable  thereafter.  NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF NEW WINDSOR that the fee for any existing or new property with a sprinkler system shall be $0.0435 per gallon multiplied by the square footage of building, effective immediately and continuing until modified by vote of the Council.
