In attendance were Councilmembers Briana Urbina, David Lai, Duane Rosenberg, Lincoln Lashley and Ryan Hussey. PRESENTATION/DISCUSSION: MUNICIPAL CENTER RENOVATIONS Mayor Dodro led the discussion renovations to the Municipal Center: Roof replaçed, Parking lot was asphalt was replaced and repainted parking space lines in2 2017. The cooling tower was replaced. Upgrade needed. Electrical. Mold treatment. RFP2017 (Design Collective). Lien on Municipal Building, $64,000.00 contract. The Councilmembers asked questions and gave input. 3. PRESENTATION: STREELIGHTSSURVEY RESULTS Daniel D. Teixeira from Pepco provided an overview of the streetlight survey for which their contractor visited each streetlight location to collect attributes, such as style (e.g., cobra head); type (e.g., high-pressure sodium); wattage (e.g., 100W); GPS location; and pole material. Attributes recorded from the streetlight survey were matched to current Pepco records. The Councilmembers asked questions and gave input. 4. FOLLOW UP OPTIONS: NLCLINE PROGRAM Mayor Dodro discussed the topic and provided two options: Councilmember Rosenberg moved that the City Council approve option b.) The standard Program marketed via direct mail to allow the homeowners the choice to purchase coverage. Seconded by councilmember Lai. The motion passed unanimously 5-0-0. 5. DISCUSSION ON RESOLUTIONZ4-02. AMENDING RESOLUTION 23-03THE Mayor Katrina Dodro led the discussion on Resolution 24-02. To eliminate the yearly fee of $60 listed on Resolution 23-03 FY2024 Schedule of Fees for Single-family dwellings SCHEDULE OF FEES FOR FY2024. Condominiums. BODY-WORN CAMERA PURCHASE REQUEST Major Marc Butler guided the discussion on the proposed Body-Worn Camera purchase request. He provided a different reasons why it is important to comply with the purchase; he reiterated that the topic was brought up a few times through the previous Administration. The Councilmembers asked questions and gave input. 7. DISCUSSION: SOCIALI MEDIA POLICY Administrator Jones Oden led the discussion on the need to adopt a Social Media Policy that engages social media platforms to connect with residents, distribute important information, and highlight updates, community programs, municipal government details and emergency notifications related to the City. The Councilmembers and the Mayor asked questions and gave input. 8. DISCUSSION: ORDINANCE 24-01A AMENDING ORDINANCE 24-01 CHAPTER 12 Ordinance 24:01A was discussed, Amending Ordinance 24-01 Chapter 12 Ethics as embodied in Ordinance 24-01 and amended by Ordinance 24-01A, to reflect the following: (2). An interest held, at any time during the applicable period, by: (a) A business entity in which the individual helda(10)% or greateri rinterest; (b). A business entity described in item (a) ofthis subsection in which the business entity held (c)A business entity described in item (b) of this subsection in which the business entity held (d) A business entity in which the individual directly or indirectly, though an interest.
