Our current ladder is 17 years old and we need to replace in 2027 to meet NFPA Standards. There will be an industry price increase on. January 16th around 8% and another increase in July of 2024 of 6%. This will take the truck up another $200,000.00 plus. The town of Bedford are members oft the HGAC and' Would be purchasing the truck from the HGAC Contract. The good newsi is, the town of Bedford has saved $900,000.00 for the purchase of this truck The County will pay $956,183.00 for the purchase of the truck Seagrave will give us a $150,000.00 trade int for our old ladder?
