CLOSED SESSION  There were no public requests to speak.  The City Clerk announced the following closed session items prior to the City  Council adjourning to closed session at 5:36 p.m,:  A) CONFERENCE WITH REAL PROPERTY NEGOTIATORS Pursuant to Government Code section 54956.8  Property Description: City Negotiator: Negotiating parties: Under negotiation:  9260 Elk Grove Blvd, Elk Grove, CA Jason Behrmann, City Manager Julie Cline, City Real Estate Manager Thomas A. Gaebe and John S. Traynor, Owners  APN 134-0050-001  Price and Terms  B) CONFERENCE WITH LEGAL COUNSEL - ANTICIPATED LITIGATION: Initiation of litigation pursuant to paragraph (4) of subdivision (d) of  Government Code Section 54956.9:  One (1) Matter  The City Council reconvened at 6:11 p.m. with Council Member Detrick absent. Mayor Ly reported that by 4 - 0 vote (Ayes: Ly, Hume, Nguyen, and Suen; Absent: Detrick), the City Council authorized the City Attorney's Office to initiate litigation on one matter, the name of the defendant and case details were not subject to  Elk Grove City Council Special Meeting. May 8, 2019 Page 1of2    disclosure at this time, but once litigation was filed, the information would be  disclosed upon inquiry.
