Mr. Martinez requested the memorial project be added to the next City Council agenda. Jennifer Hanson, City Manager, stated the project would be a long-term use sO it would require City Council approval and she would follow up with Mr. Martinez. 8. CONSENT Mayor Joiner stated he had received requests from Councimembers to pull Items 8L and 80 for discussion. Mayor Joiner asked if any members of the public wanted to pull any items, hearing none he called for a motion. The planned Memorial and its location in McBean Park were approved by the Parks and Rec's Department in January. As of today, LVMC has received $63,382 in donations. Our major donor to date is the California Foundation for Stronger Communities with a donation of $15,000. Our goal is to raise $150,000 to $200,000. After construction, a Trust Fund will be established to provide perpetual maintenance of the Memorial construction will consist of two phases.
