CALL TO ORDER by Mayor Andreatta at 7:52PM.  ROLL CALL: Councilmembers presentHolly Andreatta  Paul Joiner Dan Karleskint Bill Lauritsen Alyssa Silhi  Mayor  Roll Call: 5 members present, 0 members absent. Staff members present: Mark Scott, Interim City Manager  Kristine Mollenkopf, City Attorney Matt Alves, Public Safety Chief Gwen Scanlon, City Clerk  Travis Williams, Acting City Engineer (Consultant via Zoom)  Various City employees, consultants and members of the public were also present via  teleconference.  2. PUBLIC COMMENT - none. 3. STAFF REPORTS  3.A. Discussion by the Council regarding making the necessary findings under AB 361 to return public meetings to a virtual setting due to the spread and risks relative to the Omicron variant of COVID-19 and if desired, Adopt RESOLUTION 2022-10 making findings consistent with the requirements of AB361 to allow for the Video Conferencing of Public Meetings. Kristine Mollenkopf, City Attorney, gave a brief staff report. A brief City Council discussion ensued regarding recent surge in COVID-19 cases due to Omicron variant and the need to go back to virtual meetings. Councimember Karleskint motioned approval of Resolution 2022-10 and to revisit the issue at the January 25, 2022 meeting and the motion was seconded by Councimember Joiner. By the following Vote (Approved): Karleskint - Aye, Joiner = Aye, Lauritsen - Aye, Silhi- - Aye and Andreatta - Aye: RESOLUTION 2022-10 making findings consistent with the requirements of AB361 to allow for the Video Conferencing of Public Meetings  4. ADJOURNMENT - Mayor Andreatta adjourned the meeting at 8:06PM.
