Propose special use permit pursuant to Section 5-7 Flood Hazard Overlay District ofthe Town's Zoning Ordinance, proposed development in the flood hazard district, currently zoned B-1, Limited Business District, 128 Park Street, Tax Map #013-1-120F1  Assistant Town Manager and Director ofCommunity Development Mayana Rice provided Mayor Pillion opened the public hearing. Resolution approving proposed special user permit to Section 5-7 Flood Hazard Overlay District oft the Town's Zoning Ordinance, proposed development in the flood hazard district, currently zoned B-1, Limited Business District, 128 Park Street, Tax Map #013-1-120F1 On motion ofl Mr. Austin, seconded by Vice Mayor Anderson, approved the Resolution, and add the condition that the town staff suggested that it be submitted to all applicable building permits to the Community Development Department in ensure compliance for  both constructions permitting and for any required flood proofing. Quarterly report from Abingdon Fire Department  Chief Tim Estes presented Council with information pertaining to the Abingdon Fire Councilmember Austin questioned the status of the banner poles. Town Manager Mike Cochran stated that some additional design was needed, and an access easement from Double K  Department, including call volume, fire safety, ISO: ratings, and inspections.
