4 Oçtober 2021  Town of Windsor Board Members:  For the month of September: September is when school bills come out, and get busy with phone calls and people coming into see me. They are wondering about their tax bills. (either their exemption changed, or their assessment changed due to new construction) I had a lot of people applying for the Enhanced STAR since September 1st and other exemptions too. (between September 1st and March 1st is my window to apply for any exemption) Ihad to correct a few school tax bills due to NYS. Ihave done a lot of letters of apportionments this year. The letter of apportionments are done when the taxpayers split their land after March 1st and I have to split up their school bill and town and county tax Iwill be attending the fall NYS Assessor's Conference on Monday through Wednesday, When the leaves come off the trees, Iwill start to go out on the road and look at new  bill. Ihave done five this year, normally it's one maybe two. October 4th, 5th and 6th. Iwill be taking classes, all via online.  construction and reassessments.  Thank you,  Reh4-tyage # Becky A.
