Garage  Office has been busy this month, dealing with property maintenance issues and neighbor conflicts such as the barn collapse on Trim Street. We have been trying to gain compliance on fire detection systems on several building used for general assembly, such as houses of worship. There are several other businesses that are in noncompliance that we have been trying to assist. Doing inspections as work at the highway department pole barn progresses as well as on various open permits throughout the township. We were called in by fire department to assist on declaring a building unsafe for habitation and assisting the resident on how they can proceed. Participated in training activity on fire code and sprinkler systems as part of my continuing education as  required by NYS Code Counsel.
