Maintenance Department - Ms. Pitt, Town Administrator- Commissioner Howington moved the motion, and Commissioner Bellamy seconded the motion. The motion was 10. January 2024- Ms. Pitt, Town Administrator informed the Mayor and BOC of33 (thirty-three) checks totaling $61,387.18, with cash disbursements (electronic payments) from several vendors totaling $13,426.03. Commissioner Howington moved the motion, and Commissioner Bellamy seconded the motion. The motion was carried unanimously 51 to 0.  12. Resolution oft the Town of Whitakers Board ofCommissioners Establishing Daily Deposit  Procedures  a. Approval of the ARPA Policies (1 Action Item Vote to. Approve 1. TOW Eligible Project For the Expenditure of ARPA of2021 Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds By The Town Of Whitakers- Commissioner Taylor moved the motion, and Commissioner Pro Tem Lindsey seconded the motion. The motion was carried unanimously 5 to 0. Six oft the ARPA Policies were approved except #2: Grant Project Ordinance for TOW. ARPA of 2021 Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds it was  them AlI) Funds  tabled until further clarification.  b. Approve budget amendment for Library repairs. - Commissioner Howington moved the motion, and Commissioner Bellamy seconded the motion. The motion was carried unanimously 5 to 0. Update on the FY: 2021-2022 Audit was presented by Ms. Pitt, Town Administrator, as evidence ofinformation was provided as requested by Mrs. Rebekah Barr, CPA from Ms. Pitt and Mr.  Overton, CPA for Town of Whitakers.    d. Whitakers Library approval to move forward with additional repairs. - Commissioner Howington moved the motion, and Commissioner Bellamy seconded the motion. The motion was :. Approval to purchase water meters, meter boxes, lids, and settlers. Commissioner Howington moved the motion, and Commissioner Pro Tem Lindsey seconded the motion. Citizens Comments and or Concerns  Mr. Douglas Wooten introduced himself as the new Director oft the Franklin Center at  Bricks and extended invites to BOC for upcoming events.  9. Commissioners Reports, Comments and or Concerns  Commissioner Bellamy: Expressed concerns about Police Coverage Commissioner Howington: No Issues or Concerns Commissioner Pro Tem Lindsey: No Issues or Concerns  Commissioner Taylor: Notified the BOC that Easter Monday, the first Monday in April, was a holiday and recommended rescheduling the Town meeting to Tuesday, April 2,  2024, recommendation was approved.
