Meeting Minutes  Glen Alpine Board of Aldermen Regular Meeting March 14, 2022  Present: Mayor Benfield, M. Lewis, S. Perkins, R. Cox, J. Miller,  T.H Helms, Clerk M. Lalonde  Public Hearing of Fire Department Budget- Call hearing to order-Mayor Benfield Public comments-None Close hearing-Mayor Benfield  CALLTO ORDER-Mayor Benfield called the meeting to order at 6pm  NVOCATION-Moment of Silence PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE  APPROVAL OF AGENDA-Motion made by Perkins to apprové the agenda; Pass 5-0 APPROVAL OF DEPT REPORTS-Motion made by Cox to approve the Dept Reports; APPROVAL OF MINUTES-Motion made by Miller to approve the minutes; Pass 5-0 PUBLIC COMMENTS: Gary Meise thanks the Board for their service to the community. He has a complaint about his neighbor at 3819 Cannonball St. He states that in the last several years there has been a shooting, threats, drugs, domestic violence, high traffic, one person found dead in the house, and calls for overdoses. The neighbors are dumping trash onto his property, and he has found dirty needles, they also park on his side of the road. Mr. Meise is concerned for the safety of the neighborhood; he has three grandchildren and feels that it is no Ken Riddick: Mr. Riddick is here to follow up on Mr. Meises complaint of the high  Pass 5-0  longer safe for the kids to play outside.  traffica and concerns for the safety of the neighborhood.
