Staff; Kenny and Trent Guests; Barbara Myers  Chairman LH Kirksey called the meeting to order at 10AM, led the Pledge of Allegiance,  followed by a moment of silence. Public comments; None  Beverly Carlton made a motion to approve the agenda as presented. All approved.  Business:  Director Kenny Rhyne updated the board members on the second primary with the number of voters that have voted. 42 have voted as of 5pm Monday April 29. Our director also noted changes in our schedule for the board meetings for this election as mandated by General Statutes. To keep us in compliance with the General Statutes, the May 14, 2024 evening He also talked briefly about the options on having email addresses for the board members with the county email server. All 8 were inspected by the board members and validated. 2 other absentee ballots were presented with valid ID. All of the ballots were processed by the board members, signed, and opened. They were then given to Trent to be tabulated.
