Staff; Kenny Rhyne, Trent Price Guests; none Chairman LH Kirksey called the meeting to order at 5 PM, led the Pledge of Allegiance, Linda Walker made a motion to approve the agenda as presented. All approved. followed by a moment of silence. Public comments; none Business; Director Kenny Rhyne updated the board members on activities underway for the second The trucks made their deliveries of the voting equipment to the polling locations today with a few small issues. One in particular was the loss of one of the printers when it was crushed when some equipment shifted during transport. Several other printers are out of order as well. Our reserve printers are being used to cover the deficit with one spare on reserve. Director Rhyne will look at getting replacements for aging out printers and future needs. He reminded the board members we will be replacing batteries for all the DS-200s & ADA machines according to the recommended schedule for replacement in next year's budget Director Rhyne then brought in the 5 absentee ballots to be processed. 2 ballots were spoiled because they did not have sufficient witnesses. 3 remaining ballots had valid ID submitted and was processed and opened by the board members. The ballots were then given to Trent to be tabulated. Before the ballots were put into the DS 200, Trent verified the public count as 24 with the board members. He then fed the 3 ballots into the tabulator and verified the Director Rhyne then presented the Oath of certification for the civilian ballots and the He then prepared the lists of the voters that voted absentee ballots organized by precinct for the board members to deliver to the chief judge at the polling places on election day. Sandi Walker informed the board members the information on the corrections made to the Deputy Director document for Alex Rhoney was sent and corrected by Alex.
