Status on lift stations Mr. Gorham (Suez) Mr. Gorham informed the board that there was a total of 1091 hours ofl labor for the month ofJ January. Main Street lift station no maintenance was required. Walnut Grove lift station no maintenance was required. Taylor Street lift station on January 26th the pump was pulled, and de-ragged and new cutters were installed to cut up the rags. Porter Street no maintenance was required. Railroad Street no: maintenance was required. Bell Street no maintenance was required. On. January 17h various hydrates were flushed throughout the system. On. January 22nd was a sewer unblocked on Nash Street. Commissioner Taylor asked how often are hydrants flushed? Mr. Gorham answered a couple oft times a month. Main St. Ms. Davis informed the board that she wanted to open an adult day program for the elderly and anyone with special needs. Providing daily activities, breakfast, lunch, and dinner from hours of9 am to 6pm. Volunteer credit Attorney Pridgen informed that with the address they willl have to check to see what zoning district the location is Mr. Patel informed that board that he would like to open ai restaurant and skill game room (internet sweepstakes). Attorney Pridgen informed that per the Ordinance this type ofe establishments has to be in a neighbor commercial district or light industrial district and 2501 ft. away from churches, school, and residents. 8. Minimum Housing Inspection Services- - Nash County and Edgecombe County - Attorney Pridgen Attorney Pridgen informed the board that as aj part oft the grant program the town is required to look into minimum housing issues. Dennis Patton advised to make arrangement ahead oft time for inspections. 9. ASADRA Grant ($1,459,000): - Report - Dennis Patton Mr. Patton informed the board that the grant was not awarded. The issues were the none submitting the SSO (Sanitary Sewer Overflow). The otheri item that was an issue was the CIP did not specify the lift station on Porter St. The Town scored 73 point out of 100. There willl be an application resubmitted in the spring. Mr. Patton informed the board that on the memo that was sent for the bid was held off waiting to receive the ASADRA grant to move the Porter St. lift station down to Watson St. The Bid date will be March 4h, 2021 at 2 PM, and the Pre-Bid date will be February 161, 2021 at 10 AM. Bid have tol be turned in by March 15th, 2021, and the signed contract for construction has to bet turned in by April 15th, 2021. Construction to relining ofthe pipes 10. Demolition and Live Burn Project t- Commissioner Taylor Mr. Everett ask what the wishes oft the board was the pricing per house will be $6000. Commissioner Taylor spoke with the Fire Chiefand they were willing to go and look at the 2 houses that were ready for demolition or live burn which are located at 201 W Taylor St. and 203 S.) Porter St. For 201 W.Taylor thet town would need to check the cable lines to make sure that it is dead and to contact PNG to make sure the gas Attorney Pridgen stated that Mrs. Bandy she was interested int tearing it down herself or fixing it up. Instead of telling them that their water is going to bei turned off, how about provide them with the resourceful information that will help them pay their Mr. Overton informed the board that the revenues was about 62% oft the budget and that is somewhere near what it should be. The total expenses were 63% oft the budget and that is close to whati is needed to be. The general administration was way over budget there are service things in there that should be allocated to other funds. The other departments are under budget.
