Roll call Those Present: Mayor Chad Braxton, Alderman David Dunn, Alderman Todd McMillen, Alderman Dennis Smith, Alderman Billy Whitford and Alderman Earl Wright. III. Invocation by Alderman McMillen. IV. Pledge of Allegiance. V. Approval ofminutes from last meeting. Alderman Dunn made a motion to approve minutes. Motion was seconded by Alderman Smith and carried. Vote 5-0. VI. Approval of Cash Receipts and Disbursements. Alderman Whitford made a motion to pay bills. Motion was seconded by Alderman McMillen and carried. Vote 5-0. VII. Extend FY16-17 Audit Report by James Overton of Carr, Riggs & Ingram. Alderman Dunn made a motion to extend FY16-17 Audit Report by James Overton of Carr, Riggs & Ingram. Motion was seconded by Alderman Smith and carried. Vote 5-0. VIII. Police Report. Police Report presented by ChiefJenkins. May 4-5 was the Vanceboro Strawberry Festival, it was a success this year. Attended meetings for gang activity and opioid subcommittee this month. Malik Brown was this month's "Do the Right Thing" winner at Vanceboro Farm Life Elementary School.
