This equipment is much needed for the Police Department. The Axon body worn cameras have arrived and will be phased into service int the next couple weeks. The Dodge Durango that was purchased in. July is now fully equipped andi in service. The Dodge Durango that was purchased to replace the Ford Expedition is being  outfitted, and will bei in service before the first of the year.  Officer Kyle Osborne will start fulltime the week after Christmas. Iwould like to welcome Officer Osborne to the team. Officer Osborne has five years experience in law enforcement, and al bachelor's degree in Criminal Justices. Officer Osborne is married and hasa daughter. Officer Osborne will be in field training with Officer Brown for 4-6 weeks. Officer Osborne will then be working on dayshift, with Officer Buchanan going to the split shift. Iwill be altering my normal shift to accommodate fori the busy weekends and holidays. Iwill be working  most Saturdays and Sundays, and taking days off during the week. Council and Village Manager for the Christmas bonus we received.
