Compared to a year ago, the trash pickup has been much heavier than last season, but the addition of the newt truck has made this process much easier. With the relative calm weather, our residents have been active in clearing their properties of brush and limbs and in that aspect kept us busy picking up their debris. We have also been working the weather and the few winter events that have occurred. The addition oft the new building has allowed us to completely have all of the tennis courti items put into dry storage for the winter while also providing a warm, dry garage bay to keep the trash truck in when not in use. Ihave also been working on providing a complete inventory of all items on hand in both our golf and public works maintenance facilities. We acquired new aluminum inventory stickers to place on items valued above $100.00. This was a process that was inj place 30+ years ago, and we will now have inventory stickers on all equipment on hand. Our crew has also helped Chief Turbyfill with adding a doora and closet space int the evidence room to meet requirements for evidence storage on the Police side of the building. More work will need to be done on that end in the coming year to assist the officers with evidence collection and: storage, and we are well suited to take on the task of constructing whateveris needed in that department. We have also been keeping the golf course clean of limbs and debris that falls during the windier times. Ift the weather continues on the current path, mowing will not bei far behind. We are looking forward to the upcoming golfs season and the course willl be in good condition as always for our planned opening date of April 21.
