THE VILLAGE OF SUGAR: MOUNTAIN 251 Dick Trundy Lane Sugar Mountain, NC 28604  March2, 2023  There is not much to report on int the two weeks since the last meeting. Other than the several inches of rain keeping us busy watching and cleaning ditches, and the windstorm from this past Sunday night, our activity has been uneventful. There were many sticks and limbs blown from thet trees but no entire trees. The crew was able to clean up and remove most oft the debris. We are expecting storms and heavy rain int the Thursday-Friday timeframe, which willl be after the writing oft this report. If any issues arise, Iwill report accordingly on Tuesday. On the golf course we have had to mow all fairways and greens now due to the warm weather. It is only the 3rd time in 26y years of being here that we have cut grass in February. I have begun work replacing the culvert at the 10th tee and extending in further in order to enlarge the tee box. We are also refurbishing the sand traps on the 2nd hole.
