We are on a daily basis either mowing grass, trimming trees, or cleaning up brush and debris placed at the roadside by our residents. Our staff this week have been servicing the Police vehicles, and replacing tires to keep them in excellent condition. Work has also begun on sandblasting and repainting the truck beds on 2 of our vehicles. The new truck thatimentioned in the last report has been purchased andi is in: service. Iwill plan to have it at the Town Hall for the meeting for anyone to look ati ift they wish. The storm that rolled through on Thursday the 13th brought down a couple of trees on Dell road just before dark. Thanks to a nearby homeowner that alerted our Police officer on duty to the tree, we  were able to get onsite quickly and get it cleaned up.  The golf course continues to be very busy, which creates additional challenges as far as maintenance goes. The daily mowing has to occur at a slower pace due to all oft the play, however the crewi is doing an excellent jobi in their duties tol keep the course in such good condition. The new cart fleet is performing as expected and our customers are very happy with the addition of the new fleet. As has been the custom now for several years, many of our players are first timers on the property and they leave here giving us some very nice compliments oni the condition and playability of the golf course. would like to let ther members of the Council know that Iwill be away from the mountain from August the 1st thru the 10th. My son whoi is in the United States Marine Corp will be moving to his newly assigned duty station in San Diego, California. I will be traveling with him across the country to get him settled into his new residence. I am very appreciative oft this workplace that will allow me to spent this time with him during this momentous move across our country.
