Since the last meeting we. have had over 10" ofrainfall and several small snow and ice events. The ice that accumulated on Tuesday the gth at the top of the mountain was as thick as we have seen in a while. Nearly everything mother nature can throw at us happened that day with high winds, flooding rains, followed by light snow. A 1-2" snowfall causes us just as many headaches as a large event would. We use just as many screenings and travel as many miles when slick conditions occur because of these events. I trust our crew and their experience during these times, and I can promise that we do everything we can and use all the tools at our disposal to manage the roads. The new truck is fully operational and is a great asset to our fleet. We continue to remodel the interior of the golf maintenance building when we aren't in a plow truck. This project will be completed by the time golf season rolls around. We have been able to cut a couple trees on the golf course, but the groundwork has been halted due to the wet conditions. Hopefully a dry stretch of weather will allow us to continue the tee reconstruction and drainage installation. As always, ifanyone has any questions or comments, please do not hesitate to call us. Respectfully submitted, Bill Daniels, Village Maintenance Director
