We have been continually working the weather when snowfall events occur and in between maintaining the trucks. After the snowy January ended, we had several issues come up with 2 of our plow trucks. We had to rebuild an entire rear gear assembly on one, and the other had to be taken to a dealer to replace an oil recirculation valve. lam very thankful that the weather gave usa break to make these necessary repairs. The trash pickup continues to be heavier than normal, requiring trips on each pickup day to the landfill. Normally during the winter in between holiday periods, we can get both Monday and Thursday pick-ups on the truck but that has not been the case this year. We are assessing the condition of the roads as well, making note oft the areas to be repaired and repaved  this spring and summer.  This break in the weather is allowing us to make the drainage repairs on the golf course. By Tuesday we will have replaced 270 feet of culvert underneath the 12th fairway. After removing the old culvert is was rather apparent it has been in place since the course was constructed as it was completely rusted. Only the top section remained, with the water channeling through the void left by the depleted pipe. Work is continuing on the refurbishment of the golf maintenance facility and is nearing completion. As always, please do not hesitate to  contact us with any questions or concerns.
