Though play has slowed, revenues and the number of rounds of golf still exceed last year's. We have seen an increase of $6,906 or 37.41% in revenue this month through October 11th ($25,367) ino comparison to the same period in October 2022 ($18,461); with an overall increase in revenue of $68,593 or 12.02% for the 2023 season April-October 11th ($639,438) in comparison to the same period of 2022 ($570,845). While we have seen an overall increase in revenues this season, we have also seen an increase in the number of rounds played by 780;2023-16,200 rounds vs 2022-15,420 Tennis Operations: Tennis is also finishing another busy season, with the courts closing for the season after play on Sunday, October 15th. Tennis has seen a slight increase in revenue of $837 or 2% fori the period May through October 11, 2023 ($40,988) in comparison to the same period Village Hall Parking Lot Repairs/Paving: Tri-County Paving has completed the re-paving of the Village Hall Parking lot. They also resurfaced several areas of road cuts on the mountain. Tri- County will return in the Spring to do more extensive resurfacing of our Village streets. Public Works staff will restripe the yellow and white lines on our streets before the Winter: season. Tourism Development Authority (TDA) Board Meeting: The TDAI Board met on' Wednesday, October 11, 2023. The Board approved $100,000 in funding fori improvements tot the pump: station and irrigation lines on the golf course. The Board also approved the 2023-24 Sugar Bus contract with Elder Transportation. They approved a $3,000 sponsorship of the Woolly' Worm Festival. There was discussion of the 4th of July fireworks, withi thel Board deciding on a deluxe display that willl be 18 minutes inl length. They will negotiate with the company to reduce the total price from $27,0001 to $22,500.
