Town of Robbinsville Special Meeting Minutes June 22, 2018  A special Town of Robbinsville Meeting was called to order by Mayor Steve Hooper at 10:00AM at the Council present: Brian Johnson and Shaun Adams. Debbie Beasley was out of town, but had been  Town Hall on June 22, 2018. notified of the meeting. Others present: No public attended. There was no public comment.  Brian Johnson made a motion to continue using the NC League of Municipalities for worker's compensation insurance and Farley Insurance for medical and property insurance. The Town will be changing from Blue Cross/Blue Shield with a HSA to United Health Care without an HSA or HRA, but will include vision and dental insurance. Shaun Adams seconded. Motion carried, Unanimous. Brian Johnson made a motion for a $2.10 raise effective July 1, 2018 for the Finance Director. The Finance Director has been here since February 13th, and has replaced three positions, this increase will still be lower than what the Town was paying the three positions. She has increased revenue and decreased expenses, and has done an excellent job. Shaun Adams voted against. Steve Hooper voted Brian Johnson made a motion to approve the 2018-2019 Budget Ordinance, which has set in the office available for review for over 10 days as required by North Carolina G.S. 159-13. Shaun Adams seconded Mayor Hooper made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 10:20AM. Brian Johnson seconded the motion.  yes to break the tie. Motion passed.  the motion. Motion carried. Unanimous.
