Town of Robbinsville Regular Meeting Minutes May 6, 2020 Teleconference Al Regular Town of Robbinsville Board Meeting was called to order by Mayor Steve Hooper at: 1:00 PMvia teleconference May 6, 2020. Approval of meeting minutes: Johnson seconded. Motion passed. Approval of agenda: Debbie Beasley made a motion to approve the April 22nd, 2020 Regular. Board meeting minutes. Brian Mayor Hooper added (5) New Business - Graham Star graduation ad and Brian Johnson added (6) New Business = two employees raises. Brian Johnson made a motion to approve the Agenda as amended. Debbie Beasley seconded. Motion passed. Old Business: Fort Hill- = road to water tank: Motion passed. Sewer jet repairs: motion. Motion passed. New Business: Public Comment: Brian. Johnson made a motion to table this until the next meeting, Debbie Beasley seconded the motion. Brian Johnson made a motion to replace the Sewer jet tank for $1,600. Debbie Beasley made a motion to close public comment at 1:13 PM. Brian. Johnson seconded the motion. Motion passed. Finance Update: The Finance Director presented the April, 2020 Budget VS Actual. She: stated that the Town has brought in more than they have spent for both the General Fund and the Water & Sewer Fund, and that the Towni is within budget for all funds. Page 1 of2 She presented an update Comp Hour spreadsheet for the four employees that still have more than a 40 comp hour balance. She stated that since the April 22, 2020 Board meeting the four employees have Brian. Johnson made a motion to no longer purchase the $50,000 bonding insurance for Shari Birchfield as Tax Collector, since the County is now the Town's tax collector. Shari Birchfield is covered under the Town's umbrella bonding insurance. This will save the Town $450 a year. Debbie Beasley seconded the Brian. Johnson asked Attorney Davis to draft al letter to the Department of Transportation concerning the reduced their comp hours by 56.50 hours which has saved the Town $1,159. motion.
