Town of Robbinsville Regular Meeting Minutes February 5, 2020 Graham County Library Ar regular Town of Robbinsville Meeting was called to order by Mayor Pro-tem Brian. Johnson (due to the absence of Mayor Steve Hooper) at 1:00 PM at the Graham County Library on February 5, 2020. Daniel Stewart lead the meeting in prayer, and Mayor Pro-tem Brian Johnson led the meeting in the Pledge of Allegiance. Council present: Brian. Approval of meeting minutes: Debbie Beasley made a motion to approve the. January 8, 2020 Regular Board meeting minutes. Brian Johnson seconded. Shaun Adams opposed. Motion passed 2-1. Approval of agenda: Mayor Pro-tem Brian Johnson stated that Justin Odom would not be at the meeting, SO the Board needed to replace item #6 of New Business with a REVVED Up request and add item #11 - Hub request to New Business. Debbie Beasley approve the Agenda with the necessary amendments. Brian Johnson seconded the motion. Shaun Adams opposed. Motion passed 2-1. Old Business: of Robbinsville: Opposition to Resolution/Election regarding the Sale of Malt Beverages/Unfortfied Wine in the Town Jimmy Millsaps, Daniel Stewart and Bo Collins addressed the Board opposed toi the Resolution. Resolution requesting the Graham County Board of Elections to hold an election regarding Sale of Attorney Brady Cody addressed the Board in favor of the Resolution. Brian Johnson made a motion to table the Resolution for 60 days and encouraged the issue to be taken to the Graham County Board of Malt Beverages/Unfortfied Wine in the Town of Robbinsville: Commissioners. Debbie Beasley seconded the motion. Motion passed 3-0. Collins Trailer Park drainage issue: to discuss this issue. Agenda Amendment: motion. Motion passed 3-0. Bo Collins addressed the Board. The Board decided to set-up a time to meet with Bo Collins at the site Shaun Adams made a motion to add minutes discussion to the Agenda. Motion passed 3-0. Debbie Beasley made a motion to cancel the purchase of the truck with Jacky. Jones Chevrolet. Shaun New Business: Public Comment: Two people spoke during public comment. Brian Johnson made a motion to close public comment at 2:15 PM. Debbie Beasley seconded the motion. Motion passed 3-0. Finance Update: passed 2-1. Brian Johnson made a motion to approve Graham County Tax Release #9828 for Christine Crisp for tax years 2015, 2016, and 2017. Debbie Beasley seconded the motion. Shaun Adams opposed. Motion The Finance Director presented the 12/31/19 Budget VS Actual and the Bank Account Balance Comparison at 12/31/2018 and 12/31/2019 to the Board. The Finance Director explained to the Board that since the majority of old debt has been collected that the Town will need to stay very close to the Budget during the remainder of the year. She presented the Budget Planning Calendar to the Board for Brian Johnson made a motion to use the Commuting Rule for the Mayor's personal use of the Town's vehicle.
