Debbie Beasley seconded the motion. Motion passed. Old Business: Town Hall Mold Issue: Mayor Hooper stated that the basement cleanout has not been started. He also stated that the dehumidifiers have not been installed in the basement and the a/c duct work sealing has not been done. He said that the Maintenance Supervisor assured the Mayor that this willl be completed this month. Collins - drainage issue update: Community Clean-up Day: 10:00 AM. New Business: DOT Project - Corridor K: Mayor Hooper updated the Board on the Collins drainage issue. Brian. Johnson stated that Community Clean-up Day has been rescheduled for Earth Day, April 22, 2021 Lat Jimmy Terry and Chad Houser addressed the Board about the status oft the Corridor KI DOT road project. Brian. Johnson made a motion to have the Mayor sign the letter requested by North Carolina Department ofTransportation. Debbie Beasley seconded the motion. Motion passed. Road name Wayne Carringer Blvd Resolution: Pamela Carringer Moody requested that the Town support the North Carolina Department of Transportation in naming the new road off Highway 129 at Robbinsville High School the Wayne Carringer Blvd in memory of outstanding service to the Town of Robbinsville by Wayne Carringer. Tallulah Creek Water Treatment Plant Upgrade Project-Resolution: Resolution. Debbie Beasley seconded the motion. Motion passed. Brian Johnson made a motion to approve the Tallulah Creek Water Treatment Plant Upgrades Project Mayor Update: Mayor Hooper updated the Board on speed hump cost, $888 each. He stated that the Track hoe and the maintenance shop garage door needs to be replaced, he will get quotes for both. Brian Johnson stated that he wants to post an ad in the Graham Star that the Town is accepting Finance Update: The Finance Director presented the 3/31/2021 Budget VS Actual. She stated that the County collections are at 96.20% at the end of March 2021. Downtown Projects-E Budget Amendment #15: Brian Johnson made a motion to approve Budget Amendment #15, $10,000 for the Downtown Mural projects. Debbie Beasley seconded the motion. Motion passed.
