Town of Robbinsville Regular Meeting Minutes April3,2019  AI regular Town of Robbinsville Meeting was called to order by Mayor Steve Hooper at 1:00 PM at the  Town Hall on April 3, 2019.  Council present: Shaun Adams, Brian. Johnson, Debbie Beasley  Others present: Ellen Davis, Town Attorney; Sonya Webster, Finance Director; Shari Birchfield, Town Clerk; Robbi Pounds; Graham Star; Donna Adams; citizen, Roma Gail Collins; citizen (1:27PM), Michelle Shiplet; Church Mouse Ministries, Chadd Carpenter; Maintenance Supervisor (1:08PM) Debbie Beasley made a motion to approve the February 13, 2019 meeting minutes. Brian Johnson made a motion to approve the agenda with the following agenda amendments Old business: (4) Update on maintenance vehicle repairs; New business: (4) & (8) Switch the order for Graham Star ad and MOU - Church Mouse Ministries, (11) Appoint RTA board member. Shaun Adams Chadd Carpenter updated the Board on the maintenance vehicle repair status. Debbie Beasley made a motion to go with the lowest quote to repair the white Ford Ranger clutch. Brian. Shaun Brian Johnson made a motion for the Community Clean-up Day to be Tuesday, May 7, 2109 starting at Mayor Hooper stated that Dirk Cody was going to check to see if he has the necessary pipes for the Snider Town project, he is still waiting to hear back from Mr. Cody. Brian Johnson made a. motion to table this until the next meeting. Shaun Adams seconded the motion. Vote unanimous.  Adams voted against. Motion passed 2-1.  10:00AM. Shaun Adams voted against the motion. Motion Mayor Hooper read the North Carolina Environmental Quality letter concerning the management decision on the Town of Robbinsville's FY 18 Annual Audit for the Tallulah Creek and Circle Street Area Debbie Beasley made a motion to accept the tax discovery #5717. Shaun Adams seconded the motion. The Mayor reminded the Board that the NC Treasurer Board and Finance training has been rescheduled Debbie Beasley made a motion to put a $30 Easter adi in the Graham Star. Shaun Adams made ar motion to excluded Brian Johnson from voting since he is an employee of the Robbinsville Tourism Authority. Johnson made a motion to: send al letter to all customers that have been called in the past few months before their water is disconnected stating that there will be no more phone calls made before disconnection.
