Council present: Brian. Johnson  Council present via telephone: Debbie Beasley Opening of Bids- -1 1996 Ford Truck:  No bids received. Brian. Johnson made a motion to re-advertise fort the 1996 Ford Truck: sealed bids. (Bids due by October 6, 20204 4:30 PM - will be opened at the next Board meeting October 7, 2020) Debbie  Beasley seconded the motion. Motion passed. Approval of meeting minutes: Beasley seconded. Motion passed. Approval of agenda:  Brian. Johnson made a motion to approve the August 14, 2020 Regular Board meeting minutes. Debbie  Steve Hooper switched New Business item #4 withi item #1. Brian. Johnson made a motion to approve the  Agenda as amended. Debbie Beasley seconded the motion. Motion passed.  Public Comment:  Brian. Johnson made a motion to open public comment at 1:10 PM. Old Business: Town Hall Mold Issue:  Brian. Johnson made ar motion to approve Budget Amendment #3 to appropriate funds for the Town Hall mold issues. Debbie Beasley seconded the motion. Motion passed. Steve Hooper listed the additional  items that he will ensure are completed concerning the Town Hall mold issues.  Old" Town Hall Leasing: PM at the Town Hall. New Business: Constitution Week:  Brian Johnson made a motion to declare September 17-23, 2020 Constitution Week for the Town of  Robbinsville. Debbie Beasley seconded the motion. Motion passed.  WI Fort Hill Drive - additional improvements:  Brian. Johnson made a motioni toi table thisi issue, waiting on quotes. Debbie Beasley seconded the motion.  Motion passed. Coronavirus Relief Fund:  Brian Johnson made a motion to revert all unused requested Coronavirus Relief funds back to Graham County fora any public health expenses due to Coronavirus. Debbie Beasley seconded the motion. Motion  passed. Manhole Sealing:  Brian Johnson made a motion to table this issue, will be discussed again if Grants are received. Debbie  Beasley seconded. Motion passed.  Finance Update:  The Finance Director presented the Year End Comparison for 2019 and 2020. AtYE 20201 the General Fund increased the Fund Balance by $126,654, the Water and Sewer Fund decreased the Fund Balance by $132,183. COVID has had an impact on the revenue for the Water and Sewer Fund. The Town did purchase a Utility Truck and a Dump Truck during the year without increasing the debt. The Town has purchased $417.38 more gas in August 2020 compared to. August 2019. The Finance Director suggested that thel Boardi investigate thisa additional expense sincei the gas priceshavec decreased by $.20 since August  2019. Tourism Update:  Karen Taylor announced that Trunk or Treat willl be on Main Street October 31, 20201 from 3:00PM-6:00  PM: and the Christmas Parade will be December 12, 2020 at 6:00 PM.
