Town of Robbinsville March 8th, 2023 Special Meeting  Members Present: Mayor Shaun Adams, Alderman Kenneth Hyde and Alderwoman Debbie Beasley, Others Present: Lamar' Williams, Hubert Merchant and town attorney Ellen Davis  Ther meeting was called to order by Mayor Shaun Adams at 1:00 p.m.  Kenneth Hyde motioned to amend agenda to move budget amendment to 1 under old business. Debbie  Beasley 2nd. Vote unanimous  Mayor Adams opened floor to public comment at 1:07 p.m. vacated by Brian. Johnson during public comment."  Hubert Merchant discussed his interest and qualifications in being appointed as alderman in the seat Board closed public comment at 1:14 after motion was made by Kenneth Hyde and 2nd by Debbie  Beasley. Old Business:  Becky Garland discussed budget amendments and were approved by a motion made by Debbie Beasley, Town hall appraisal: Mayor mentioned he filed the paperwork to appeal the tax value of the old town Town benches/homeless ordinance: Attorney Ellen Davis presented a proposed ordinance to thet town and Kenneth Hyde made a motion to have a public hearing on the ordinance int the April 2023 regular  Kenneth Hyde 2nd. Town Attorney Ellen Davis Addressed Karen Lail's request for a right-of-way to the Long Creek tank on Grindstaff property and stated "If we don't own underlying land, we can'tg give a right-of-way"  New Business:  During the mayor update Mayor Adams mentioned American Tank Maintenance had only performed visual inspections of the tanks and no other work to them during thel last year, but they received Joel Storrow addressed the town about the storm water grant and water: system asset inventory and  $25,000 from thet town and that money was noti in budget.  assessment report.
