CITY OF NORTHWEST SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING FRIDAYJANUARY 4, 2019  6:301 PM  ASSEMBLY  The Northwest City Council held their special meeting on Friday, January 4, 2019, at Present were: Mayor James Knox: Councilmen: Charles Carroll, Aaron Perkins,  6:301 PM, at Northwest City Hall, 4889 Vernon Road. Haywood Miller and Councilwoman Sheila Grady Absent was; Councilman Michael Troy Also present was: Donna Strickland, City Clerk  CALLTO ORDER & INVOCATION  Mayor James Knox called the meeting to order at 6:30 PM. Councilman Haywood Miller gave the invocation.  PLANNING AND GOALS Parks & Recreation  After discussion, Council set the following planning and goals for the City ofNorthwest.  Mulch the Playground Area Replace Shingles on Shelter Investment Policy  Repave Basketball Court - $5,000 allocated each Fiscal Year  Finance General  Pave Parking Lot- - $5,000 allocated each Fiscal Year Create and Maintain City Webpage  Councilman Aaron Perkins MOVED, SECONDED by Councilwoman Sheila Grady to create a plan that would show Council the dates and times of request that are made. The MOTION  CARRIEDI UNANIMOUSLY. ADJOURNMENT  Councilwoman Sheila Grady MOVED, SECONDED by Councilman Haywood  Miller to adjourn the meeting at 7:35 PM. The MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
