CLOSEDSESSION: Graham Field Purchase:  On motion by Commissioner Wood and passed unanimously, the agenda was approved.  Commissioner Koch made a motion to approve the January 28, 2021 Closed Session Minutes  a) Pursuant to NC6S165-316.100)6) Economic Development  Darren Lewis explained that the Surry County Board of Commissioners: has declared Graham Field as surplus. The City sent them a memo asking for them to donate Graham Field to the City. The county replied they will not donateit but will sell. the field to the City and the Commissioner Cawley explained that he and Scott Graham built this field. It is named after Scott Graham. The City maintains the property and has maintained the property. The City leases the field from the County and thère is approximately 7 years left on the lease. There is aclause in the lease agreement for either party to exit the agreement within a certain time Hugh Campbell will work with the county attorney on how to proceed. More than likely, it Consensus: Hugh Campbell is authorized to bid on Graham Field on behalf of the City for  amount of $10,000 has been discussed.  frame.   -  will be an upset bid process: - the price of $10,000.
