TOWN OF MAXTON April 26, 2023, 10:00 a.m.  BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS TOWN MEETING  Minutes  The Board of Commissioners ofl Maxton, North Carolina met in formal session chambers oft the Town ofMaxton Town Hall located at 201 McCaskill Avenue in the meeting Attendees: Mayor Paul Davis, Mayor Pro Tem Virgil Hutchinson, Commissioner Commissioner Elizabeth Gilmore, Commissioner Paul McDowell, and Commissioner Toni Bethea,  Carolina at 10:00 a.m.  Maxton, North  Womack.  Victor  Staff Present: Town Attorney Timothy Snead, Finance Myra Tyndall and Ursula Accounts Payable Jasmin Mason, ChiefV William Davis, Public Works Director Preston Goins, McKenzie, and Water and Wastewater Director Dennis Freeman.  Call to Order- Mayor Paul G. Davis Invocation- Commissioner Virgil Hutchinson  Does any member have any known conflict of interest and appearances of conflict with refrain from any participation in the particular matter involved. identify the conflict and Mayor Davis request ai motion to approve Proposed Agenda. Commissioner McDowell made motion and it was seconded by Commissioner Womack. The vote was unanimous and  respect to any matter coming before the board today? Ifso, please  None  Adoption of Proposed Agenda  the the  motion carried. New Business:  a) Planning and Zoning Issues Board ofCommissioners took no action. b) Zacchaeus Legal Services Contract Board ofCommissioners took no action.  c) Wither-Ravenal Proposal for Stormwater Assessment  Mayor Davis request a motion to approve Wither-Ravenal proposal for Stormwater Commissioner Womack made the motion and it was seconded by Commissioner Assessment.  vote was unanimous and the motion carried. d) Maxton Housing Camera System  McDowell. The    Board ofCommissioners took no action. e) Juneteenth Parade Route unanimous and the motion carried. Board of Commissioners took no action. g) NCLM2 2023 Insurance Increase was unanimous and the motion carried. Board of Commissioners took no action.  Mayor Davis request a motion to approve Juneteenth Parade Route Ordinance. Commissioner McDowell made the motion and it was seconded by Commissioner Gilmore. The vote was  f) Robeson County Public Library Budget Request  Mayor Davis request a motion to table NCLM 2023 insurance increase. Commissioner McDowell made the motion and it was seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Virgil Hutchinson. The vote  h) Department Head Budget Needs List for 2023-2024 FY  ADJOURN the motion carried.
