Town of Hertford  Special Call Meeting (In Person/Facebook) Monday, March 13, 2023 - 5:30 PM Horace Reid Community Center, 305 W Grubb Street  The Council of the Town of Hertford held a Special Call Meeting at the Horace Reid Community Center (also by Facebook) on Monday, March 13, 2023, at 5:30 PM.  COUNCIL MEMBERS PRESENT Earnell Brown, Mayor Jerry Mimlitsch  Ashley Hodges, Mayor Pro Tem Sandra Anderson  COUNCIL MEMBER(S) Absent Connie Brothers STAFF PRESENT  Janice McKenzie Cole, Town Manager Doris Walton, Assistant to the Town Manager Ashley Eure, Account Specialist Gina Durante, Town Clerk John Leidy, Attorney A quorum was present. APPROVAL OF AGENDA  A motion was made by Mayor Pro Tem Hodges to approve the agenda as presented and Councilman Mimlitsch seconded the motion. It passed unanimously, 4-0.  BUDGET PRESENTATIONS  Water Budget - Harry Sanchez Water Distribution Budget - Harry Sanchez Wastewater Budget - Jeremy Haislip Sewer Collection Budget = Jeremy Haislip Electric Budget = Jason Value Street Budget - Harry Sanchez  Manager Cole explained that the presentations were Public Works Department requests. When the FY23-24 Budget Proposal is submitted to Council for approval, FY22-23 expenditures will be included for Council to review against the proposed  budget.  Mayor Brown asked that justification and costs be submitted for the additional personnel  requests for Wastewater and Electric departments.  March 13, 2023 Special Call Minutes  1    Council thanked Mr. Sanchez, Mr. Haislip, and Mr. Value for their presentations and effort that went into preparing their department requests. Mr. Haislip was also recognized for his service, knowledge and dedication as he will be starting a new job  outside of Hertford.  Mayor Brown asked for a motion to adjourn the Special Call Meeting. Mayor Pro Tem Hodges made a motion to adjourn the meeting and Councilman Mimlitsch seconded. It  passed unanimously, 4-0.  The Special Call Meeting was adjourned at 6:43 PM.
