James Goodrich, Commissioners: Kerry Spivey, Linda Goodrich, Patricia Meeting called to order and welcomed by Mayor Goodrich. Prayer by Commissioner Stewart Pledge by all Minutes from September board meeting read, noted that they needed revision and would be proposed for acceptance at the November Board Meeting. Old Business: It was noted that the fire department in Hamilton is still looking for volunteers at this time. Dilapidated housing project update by Commissioner Stewart, ready to move: forward in steps before demolition. Motion made by Commissioner Spivey to proceed with dilapidated housing project Seconded by Commissioner Goodrich. Unanimous decision, 5-0, motion carried. Noted that part time employee Mrs. Fox, has been able to use retention schedule adopted at previous meeting in aiding organization at town hall. New] Business Ini reference to the request from State Employees Credit Union to wave their agreed to fee of 75.00 ai month due to loss of profit discussion was had on benefits of their machine for the town. Motion made to wave the fees for the SECU atm made by Commissioner Spivey Seconded by Commissioner Morring. Unanimous decision, 5-0, motion carried. In reference to the request for local churches to use the bank parking lot for trunk or treat for Halloween, discussion on safety oft the intersection ofthe two highways was had, alternate location ofEdna Andrews parking lot suggested. Motion made to use Edna Andrews parking lot for Halloween trunk or treat festivities made by Commissioner Morring, Seconded by Commissioner Stewart. Unanimous decision, 5-0, motion carried. Discussion had about possible walking trails for the town. Locations proposed around Edna Andrews building as well as current Morris lynch center area.
