Discussion Followed: Council purposes that the shelter rental for residents remains at 75.00 but the other rates will increase as suggested by the Parks & Recreation Director. Approval of agreement with First Tryon Advisors for assistance with building projects-Mark Biberdorf, Town Manager and Heather Taylor, Assistant Town Manager. Town Manager Mark Biberdorf stated that Tyler Traudt was here last month and gave aj presentation on the financial services that they provide through their consulting firm. We have the draft agreement (blanket agreement) we checked references and Heather contacted 3 or 4 communities and we had very positive responses. We would like to use their help with the upcoming projects like the maintenance building. We would like them to look at our current loans as well to see about possibly refinancing them. They provide bank financing proposals and assistance with the closing and it ends of being about $15,000 to do this. We think that it can add value with better interest rates.
