Consent Agenda Mayor Pro-Tem Bob Davy stated that Butler Bridge Road is scheduled to re- open Set Public Hearing for the July 12the meeting to consider CZ-2021-01, a Conditional Zoning application for a portion of 220 Rutledge Road to be: rezoned from R-2 to M-1 Approval of application from Steve Watkins for the Fletcher ABC Board for a 3 yr. Approval of Proclamation P-21-02 in celebration of Parks & Recreation month in July. for a landscaping business. term which would expire in 6/24. Henderson County Public TV access. Public Hearing and presentation/Approval ofthe FY 21/22 Budget Ordinance # Mayor Whiteside stated that next week we will have a public hearing related to our 21/22 Budget Ordinance and he asked the Town Manager did he have anything that Town Manager Mark Biberdorf stated that mayor and council has a copy of the budget message that Ij prepared and a copy of the expense and revenue budget. This has been updated with our most recent set of values that we received on May 16th. Our property taxes. Ad Valorem actually decreased overall and it brought down our fire appropriations a little bit and CIP but it decrease the amount that we 0-21-05-Mark Biberdorf, Town Manager. he needed to add to this. had to use to balance the budget. COVID-19 updates -1 things have changed quite a bit and thankfully we have opened things back up and the mask requirements have changed and we don'thave the spacing requirements. Fiscal Year closeout- Sov we are at the end of our fiscal year that ends in June and we were looking at June 29 at 4:00 pm or possibly June 28 at 4:00 pm. Councilman Bob Davy stated that he will not be in town then. Sheila Franklin to see if she will be in town/available then. Mr. Brandon Olsen did speak in support of the proposal he submitted for This item will be placed on the agenda for discussion/vote next week at the regular Town Center Project -1 Ihad a telephone conference last week with Stanford Holshouser (law firm) about the draft agreement andIreviewed it and made some changes made to it and this will be part oft the Closed Session coming up. Itisa good document but council has to review it before we present it to Lewis Real Estate. Woodhill Drive is closed as ofl last night into this morning for the water system upgrade and the closing could go as long as June 15th. Idid a Connect call on this as We had our legislative delegation meeting on May 25th with Robin Ramsey and Jordan Barnes from Senator Burr and Senator Tillis office. Mayor Pro-Tem Bob Davy made a motion to transpose the fountain into aj planter Mark Biberdorf, Town Manager. and seconded it was seconded by Councilman Preston Blakely. Mayor Whiteside asked for discussion on the motion? Councilwoman Sheila Franklin Ilike the idea (repair estimate) because itl looked to me that this company could actually fix the fountain. Does this come with a guarantee? Discussion Followed: Town Manager Mark Biberdorf stated that they have a 1 yr. warranty on materials and labor. Woodhill Drive opened June 1lthbut the water project is still not completed as of yet. On a legislative priority meeting we. have with Hal Weatherman (Madison Cawthorn) on June 21 at 1:00 pm.
