Faulk - Elkin Citizen and member of WatershedNOw Mayor Bishop called the recessed meeting to order and asked Mr. Rauh and Ms. Mailo to give a presentation on the proposed new Elkin Unified Development Mr. Rauh and Ms. Mallo gave the board a presentation including the "new" provisions in the UDO which are not in our current ordinances; important changes proposed from our current ordinances; new penalty provisions and map changes. Following the presentation, the board, staff and others in attendance had an open discussion about the proposed new UDO and its provisions. Many questions were asked, and answers were given. There were several changes in the UDO that Ordinance (UDO). were suggested and discussed.
