OTHER BUSINESS MAYOR UPDATES Mayor Seaford stated he contacted Duke Energy about thes shrubs and trees blocking the intersection of Thom Street and Bostian Street. He stated he drove through the intersection the other day and notice they have not taking care of Mr. Bringle stated he noticed campers beside homes in town with power, water and sewer hooked up. He stated he is not sure if these campers are being used as temporary homes. He stated he is not sure what our ordinance states about this. Mr. Gover stated Mr. Ritchie has sent out notice of violation to one of these properties and asked Mr. Bringle the address for the second. Mr. Deal stated the ordinance states they can be in place for 30 days and then Mayor Seaford stated Carl Wilkerson passed away this past weekend. He stated he was the custodian for 32 years at China Grove Elementary School. He stated a request came in to change the street name that enters the school to honor him. He stated the road belongs to the School System and is not something that we can change.
