Michael Commission Chamber at Town Hall. 1. Call to Order and Determination of Quorum Mayor Wills called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. and determined there was a quorum. Members Present: Mayor' Wills, Mayor Pro Tempore Neeley, Commissioner Atkinson, Commissioner Staff Present: Zach Ollis, Town Manager; Josh Watkins, Assistant Town Manager; Karen' Wolter, Attorney; Chief Adams, Police Chief; Michelle Emory, Deputy Finance Director; Aaron Parks, Code Enforcement Officer; Chase! He recommended that the meeting be moved to the night before or after. He also thanked Chase Sturges, Storm Water Administrator, for takingt the initiative, getting grant money for Commissioner Kincaid also welcomed Missy. Acknowledged Chief Adams for having a police force that we take pride in their professionalism and training. Excellent job! As fort the re-zoning, he thanked the builders for exceeding all the updated requirement requests. Also, thanked thes staff for guiding that Storm Water projects. process. Aaron Parks, Code Enforcement Administrator advised that those locations have received Commissioner Helms also welcomed Missy. Commissioner Helms recognized Ambar Torress-Molinari with the Catawba Riverkeeper's. Shei ist the South Fork Watershed Manager and has helped educate him on how the Riverkeeper's workl keeping our rivers clean. Cramerton Community Committee needs more volunteers, more hands-on help. Also, would like to recommend having af fundraiser for. Jacob Brindle. He'sas student at Stuart Cramer High School that has been diagnosed with leukemia. Mayor Pro Tempore Neeley welcomed Missy as well. Addressed Chief Adam for an excellent staff. In regard to Graham Bell, she envisioned: al bell at the pavilion to ring when there was going to be an event. Mayor Wills welcomed Missy as well. Recognized Town Manager Ollis for building a brand-new staff, bringing us to the place we'r re at. Let's ally work together to get more volunteers as Commissioner Helms suggested. Mayor Wills talks about the upcoming Golf Tournament next month on October 20th. He notices, and the grass willl be cut next week.
