Town of Bermuda Run Town Council Meeting Minutes October 11, 2016 - 7:00 PM  The Town Council of Bermuda Run held its scheduled meeting on Tuesday, October 11,2016 at 7:00 Council Members Present: Mayor Kenneth A. Rethmeier, DrPH; Ken Bateman; Shirley Cagle;  PM. The meeting was held at Bermuda Run Town Hall.  Ed Coley; John Guglielmi and Jerry West  Council Members Absent: Town Attorney, Brian Williams  Also Present: Call to Order Pledge of Allegiance Moment of Silence Matthew. Adoption of the Agenda  Lee Rollins, Town Manager  Mayor Rethmeier called the meeting to order.  Mayor Rethmeier asked those in attendance to recognize and remember the victims ofHurricane Council Member. Ed Coley made a motion to adopt the agenda as, presented. Council. Member Shirley seconded the motion. The motion was approved by a vote offive (5) inj favor and none opposed. Council. Jerry West made ai motion to approve the August 9, 2016 meeting minutes as, presented. Council Member John Guglielmi seconded the motion. The motion was approved by a vote offive (5)in  Approval of the August 9, 2016 Meeting Minutes  favor and none opposed. Citizens Comments There were none.  Review: Status of] Bermuda Run Comprehensive Plan Strategies Comprehensive Plan, as well as those that are in process and not complete.  Lee Rollins provided the Town Council with an update of the completed strategies within the    Council/Mayor Comments Shirley Cagle: Ken Bateman: John Guglielmi: None. Jerry West: Ed Coley:  None. None. None.  Recommended the Town Council consider a contribution for Hurricane Mathew disaster reliefa and challenge other communities to do the same.  Council. Member Ed Coley made a motion for the Town of Bermuda Run to contribute $1,000 toward Hurricane Matthew disaster reliefthrough an organization as identified by the Town. Manager. Council Member. Jerry West seconded the motion. The motion was approved by a vote offive (5) inj favor and Mayor Rethmeier: Thanked Ed Coley for the recommendation to contribute toward disaster: relief. He  none opposed.  also thanked Mr. Rollins for providing and update of the Comprehensive Plan.  There being noj further business, Council Member Ed Coley made a motion to adjourn.
