Call to Order Mayor Ken Rethmeier called the meeting to order. 2. Adoption oft the Agenda Council Member John Guglielmi made the motion to adopt the agenda, and Coumcil Member Mike. Approval oft the March 28, 2017 Agenda Meeting Minutes Council Member Rick Cross made ai motion to approve the mimutes from the March 28, 2017. Agenda Meeting. Council Member 4. Citizen's Comments - Michelle Mann, 185. Kilbourne Dr, in the Kinderton Village area of Bermuda Run spoke to the Council about her appreciation that the Kinderton Village residents' voices were. heard at the March Council meeting. She thanked' Twin City Soccer for removing the access. road and parking lot from their proposal as the extra traffic concerns and lights were an: issue for the residents. She also expressed that she'd like to see restrictions on ending times for events at the park. Town. Attorney Brian Williams reminded Ms. Mann of the Public Hearing process and other times that residents can express their opinions and ask questions. Ed Coley seconded the motion. The motion was qpproved by a vote offour (4) inj favor and none opposed. 5. Items for Consideration A. Bermuda Run Roundabout Street lighting Plan Duke Energy has provided a plan to light the Bermuda Run roundabout that meets NCDOT guidelines. Town Manager Lee Rollins shared options with the Council which included fifteen (15) streetlights, Council Member Jobn Guglielmi made the motion) for the Town to proced with the purchase optionj for the lighting. Information Item A. Proposed Revision to the I-40 Pedestrian Bridge NCJ DOT has asked for feedback to amend the Wood' Truss Bridge and allow a Steel Truss Bridge, which has a similar look and feel and compliments the characteristics oft the WinMock Barn. New Proposed Seasonal Banners Town Manager Lee Rollins shared options for new banners that will be used as branding materials for the Town. These willl be changed out quarterly in accordance with the seasons. It was suggested that the "Town of Bermuda Run" be added, as there are currently no words on the banners. Also, the Council would like the new banners to be larger. C. Comprehensive Plan Public Input Workshop The Input Workshop guidelines were provided to the Council, as iti is being held from 10:30 am -7:00 pm today (4/25/17). 7. Other Business Council Meeting. Lee Rollins, Town Manager will provide his proposed budget for the 2017-18 fiscal year at the May 9 8. Council/Mayor Comments Ed Coley - No Comment Mike Ernst- - No Comment Rick Cross - Requested a copy oft the citizens' comments from the March Council meeting. John Guglielmi - Expressed his concerns regarding the expansion ofTwin City Sports and how it will affect the residents of Kinderton Village. Other Council also voiced concerns over rezoning and whati is legal/not legal. **Town Manager Lee Rollins reminded the Council that the Town has not received a rezoning request Or anything from Twin City Sports as ofyet, and that they need to allow the process to work. Mayor Rethmeier- - Thanked Lee Rollins and Cindy Griffith for their work in communicating recent events/concerns with the residents. He also shared: information he has put together in al handout regarding the Town's vision, values, goals, etc, saying hei is not satisfied with just treading water". 9.
