Town of Bermuda Run Town Council Meeting Minutes August 8, 2017- - 7:00 PM  The Town Council of Bermuda Run held its scheduled meeting on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at 7:00  PM. The meeting was held at Bermuda Run Town Hall. Council Members Present: Mayor Kenneth A. Rethmeier, DrPH;  Mike Ernst; John Guglielmi; and Jerry West  Council Members Absent: Ed Coley; Rick Cross; and Brian Williams, Town Attorney  Also Present: Callt to Order Pledge of Allegiance Moment of Silence Adoption of the Agenda  Lee Rollins, Town Manager  Mayor Rethmeier called the meeting to order.  Council Member. John Guglielmi made ai motion to approve the August 8, 2017 meeting agenda as presented. Council Member. Jerry West. seconded the motion. The motion was approved by a vote of  three (3) infavor and none opposed. Citizens Comments None Action Items  A. An Ordinance to Allow the Sale of Alcoholic Beverages Before Noon on Sundays at Tanglewood Pizza Company asked the Town Council to consider adopting an ordinance allowed by the North Carolina General Assembly to allow the sale of alcoholic beverages Council Member Mike Ernst made ai motion to adopt the Ordinance 2017-01 as presented. Council Member Jerry West. seconded the motion. The motion was approved by a vote ofthree B. Resolution Directing the Clerk to Investigate a Petition Received for Annexation Developer Trent Adams submitted aj petition requesting voluntary contiguous annexation fora a Council Member. John Guglielmi mad a motion to adopt the Resolution Directing the Clerk to Investigate a Petition Receivedj for Annexation. Council Member Jerry West seconded the motion. The motion was approved by a vote ofthree (3) inj favor and none opposed.  Licensed Premises  beginning at 10 am on Sundays, at licensed premises.
