Town of Bermuda Run Town Council Meeting Minutes July 11, 2017 - 7:00 PM  The Town Council of] Bermuda Run held its scheduled meeting on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at 7:001 PM. Council Members Present: Mayor Kenneth A. Rethmeier, DrPH; Ed Coley; Rick Cross;  The meeting was held at Bermuda Run Town Hall. Request Town Council Reappoint Tal Brown to Serve on the' Triad ABC Board Bermuda Run resident, Mr. Brown was appointed to fill the unexpired term ofGeorge Clark, Council Member John Guglielmi made a motion to appoint. Mr. Tal. Brown to another term as the Town of Bermuda Run representative to the Triad. Municipal. ABC Board. Council. Member Mike Ernst seconded the motion. The motion was approved by a vote offive (5) in favor and  which ended on June 30, 2017.  none opposed.  B. Request the Town Council Change the Date of the July 25. Agenda Meeting to July 27 Mayor Rethmeier has asked Davie County SheriffJD: Hartman to discuss with the Town Council, possible strategies for enhanced law enforcement. The Sheriffis available on Council. Member, Jerry West made a motion to change the. July 25. Agenda Meeting to Thursday, July 27 at 9:00am to accommodate Sheriff Hartman. Agenda Items:  Reappointment ofKen Peacock and Lynne Senger to the Planning Board NCDOT agreement for $1,000 for NCDOT to recalibrate the traffic lights at US 158 &NC801 due to reduced speed limit change to 35mph. Budgeta amendment to close out the US 158 Roundabout capitol project. The budget amendment authorizes a total expenditure of $193,217.30, ofwhich $96,608.65 will be allocated from the General Fund fund balance, and $96,608.65 will be allocated from the Gate Operations Fund fund balance. (Construction oft the US 158 Gate House required more, ground excavation than estimated, and requirement replacement of aj previously unknown corrugated storm water pipe that had rusted through.) Budget Amendment in the Utilities Fund to recognize close out of the water purchase agreement revenues and expenditures for 2016-2017. Budget amendment recognizes $231,429.07 in additional revenues from the original budget and $173,544.10  in additional expenditures from the original budget.
