Council Member. John Guglielmi made a motion to approve the. April 11, 2017 Council Meeting agenda as presented. Council Member Jerry West seconded the motion. The motion was approved by a vote of five (5)infavor and none opposed. Approval of the March 14, 2017 Meeting Minutes Council. Member Mike Ernst made a motion to approve the March 14, 2017 meeting minutes as amended. Council Member. Rick Cross seconded the motion. Barton Sexton - 185 Kilbourne Drive Opposed to proposed soccer park expansion; does not want loud speakers, wants a large buffer between soccer park; what percentage ofTwins participants are town residents; don't want my home investment diminished; don't want an access street between soccer park and Kilbourne Drive; don't want traffic through neighborhoods; soccer park can expand without additional Opposed to additional soccer fields, trail and parking lot; can see existing field lights now, but additional lights will light up my whole home; iftrail is built behind my house, I will not feel safe with my son; has lived in Kinderton Village for a year and is afraid the soccer park property; will opposed zoning change. Patrick Kesler - 191 Kilbourne Drive expansion will hurt my property value. Rob Anderson - 207 Kilbourne Drive Echoes the previous comments; reminds the Town Council that they are ai neighborhood; need some buffer between us and the recreational area; don'tunderstand the trails at all; proposed access through the: neighborhood is short sighted; hope the' Town Council looks after us. Kinderton Village is a quiet and peaceful neighborhood; appreciates the need for growth and supports the soccer park in general; however, is concerned about the closeness oft thej proposed expansion; concerned about safety of children with an access road; would like to see a buffer for Amy Yanez-1 133 Rosewalk. Lane sound barrier will go up with the newl I-40 widening project. Helen Kelly 1 103 Glenmoor Avenue concerns that come with it; do not need all that traffic. Public Hearing. - TA: 2017-02 Breweries, Wineries, Distilleries Pursuant to G.S. 160A-364, aj public hearing was duly advertised to consider: Administrative text amendments to add definitions for micro-brewery, micro winery, micro distillery, winery, wine center, and beverage manufacturing and permit these uses in the appropriate zoning districts (OS, CM, VM, TC, and GB) with additional conditions. Affected sections of the Zoning Ordinance: Section 3.5, Zoning Administrator, Erin Burris, presented. her staffr report and recommendation of approval with Mayor Rethmeier then officially opened the public hearing asking ift there was anyone who wished to speak in favor of or opposition to thej proposed text amendments. There being no one wishing to speak, Council Member. Jerry West made ai motion to approve the proposed text amendments with changes, in that the changes reflected in the attached text are consistent with the Town of Bermuda. Run Comprehensive.
